Pumpkin Butter

Pumpkin Butter

Ingredients
  

  • 1 15 oz can pumpkin
  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp fine sea salt
  • 1/8 tsp allspice

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a medium saucepan and bring to a simmer. Continue to simmer uncovered, being careful not to allow the mixture to boil, for 15 to 20 minutes, or until thickened.
  • Once the mixture has reached the desired consistency remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature before transfering to an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
